After contemplating how badly I wanted to walk 6 blocks to pick up My Manolo's I decided I was feeling a little too lazy. Brainstorming I came up with the perfect idea. Last time steve-o and I went shopping he bought Me the Christian Louboutin's... however Barney's had to special order them from their NYC store. No a big deal, everything was taken care of and the shoes were special ordered and overnighted to My address. I was fully aware of this, but was anxious to move on to the next store so I just figured "what the hell." BUT... that didn't happen, as always I found better things to do, bigger fish to fry, etc. After a few days had passed I decided to play the "Ignorant" card and call the store. "Hi, It's Lyne, you special ordered those size 41 Manolo's for Me last week and I have yet to receive them... just wondering what's going on?" The lady responds VERY APOLOGETICALLY "Oh yes, they're here!!! I'm so sorry I was wondering what was going on since you hadn't come to pick them up yet! I'm just Me - an Obama supporter. I'm mixed on My views though... I go back and forth on social and economic issues, but so far I'm pretty much 100% pro President Obama and his policy. And it's not only because he's from Chicago, it's because he actually knows what he's talking about and I trust him. He's engaging and inspiring.... much different from O/our past president. Anyway.. this Bobby Jindal kills Me when he speaks... he sounds like a cartoon character - the way he bounces his voice up and down. Ugh.. annoying.

Anyone a fan of The Watchmen? I'm pretty excited for the movie, and I'm usually not the type to get excited about Sci-fi/Comic-book type movies. It's hard for Me to even watch Batman. BUT.. I started reading The Watchmen last week and I'm trying to finish it before the movie in a week and a half. I try to read it while on the Stairmaster, which isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. Those comic books have a lot going on - it's easy to get distracted/confused especially when you're sweating up a storm working out.

Wow, skiing was soo much fun... but I really need some practice. Now that I have some sweet gear to wear out on the slopes, I have an excuse to go more often. Maybe next time Ill hit the slops in Colorado? Actually skiing in Colorado would make me soooo nervous.

LOL... I started out off the ski lift just fine... except I couldn't get going. Everyone was ahead of Me at the top of the slope looking back, waiting for Me. Those skis are hard to maneuver, I actually felt like I wanted to lift My legs almost like skating. BUT.. that didn't work. Anyway... so My friends are ahead of Me looking back, waiting for Me to catch up to them. Then all of a sudden gravity steps in and I start moving, finally. Except I'm moving fast... really fast. I thought going fast was going to take some work, like I'd have to really TRY to go fast. That wasn't exactly the case, because all of a sudden I'm flying past My friends yelling "HOW DO I STOP?! HOW DO I SLOW DOWN?!" I'm trying to do the "pizza slice" like everyone said, but that didn't seem to work. And then.. I crash. A big cloud of snow flies up and covers Me head to toe. MY entire face, everything. LOL... it was hilarious. Thank god it doesn't hurt to fall (atleast not that time), because I did a lot of it. I'm not sure why My friend's didn't taken Me on the bunny slope first, to warm Me up. All I know is that first hill was incredibly intimidating, and even after that first fall I was sooo nervous to fall again. I knew it didn't hurt that much, but I was still really nervous. I also didn't like how I couldn't see the end of the slope, which made Me that much more nervous. I think I fell another 3 times just down that first slope. But all that matters is that I'm home safe, uninjured, and I had fun. Next time will be a little easier.

Happy Fat Tuesday... I could really go for a doughnut, however My birthday is in a few days so I need to keep on the strict diet seeing how I'll be in a bikini soon. Lying on the beach in the Caribbean... aaah, life is good :) I cannot wait to have a Miami Vice. Those are My absolute favorite drinks. It's like ice cream, but with liquor. And I'm going to deserve it after My egg-white only diet I'm about to go on. Ugh.. not looking forward to it. And I am by no way Catholic (raised catholic but I do NOT by any means believe the shit they spew at you) but I always tend to give something up during "Lent." Only because it's a nice way to see if I can actually give something up for that amount of time. I can never do liquor though - because My birthday always falls during Lent, so instead I do something like chocolate (which I love), or candy (which I love because I have such a sweet tooth, thanks mom). The past few years I gave up Chocolate, so maybe I'll just do that again. And I know that I can actually give it up for the full time, so maybe it's My best bet. Plus it's actually a sacrifice because I love chocolate so much. But guess what I figured out? REESES PIECES DO NOT HAVE CHOCOLATE IN THEM. BOOYAH!!! I actually figured that out AFTER Lent last year. That's a good thing though. Anyway...

I need to do some serious thinking about what I want for My birthday. It's hard being a Princess... I'm so spoiled it's almost a chore to think about what "gifts" I want from people - even My family and friends. I don't know anymore.... Except I actually do need a new Kitchen table. So I'm going to do some searching online soon and figure out which table I want and I'll be posting a link and adding it to My Universal Amazon Wishlist. I've never skied before... but this weekend I'll be trying it out. I'm pretty excited too because chunker bought Me some sweet gear to wear on the slopes. So after picking up all the ingredients for Our Valentine's Day sushi meal... I was anxious to get home. I look over at MY boy friend "What the eff does this idiot want?" and I notice he's just STARING inside My Jeep as he's getting closer... trying to figure out who We are. I roll down My window and ask "um, can I help you?" and the man responds "yes, who are you are with?" hmm... then it occurs to Me - OBAMA IS IN TOWN!!!!!!! AAAH!!!! I also notice the Secret Service pin on the guy's suit coat and then I see the 4 black Suburbans with tinted windows up ahead. LOL... so needless to say I got the pleasure of speaking to the Secret Service on Valentine's Day because I apparently was driving to close to where President Obama and his wife were eating. Table 52... I always walk by that place.. now I'll have to try it. If you can't already tell, I'm obsessed with President Obama and everything about him. My man and I actually stood outside in the parking garage for about 20 mins freezing Our asses off in hopes to catch a glimpse. However, We weren't that lucky... instead I think I caught a mild case of frost bite. Oh well...

Alrighty... so I have just about 1/3 of My St. Maarten vacation paid for. The plane tickets total $700 and the hotel is $1300... so that's $2000 total. Well it looks like everyone is kinda dead set on the color "Feeling Hot-Hot-Hot" for this week's pedicure. I haven't done pink in so long... especially in the winter. Yummy brownies today... and two days ago I made double chocolate chip cookies, which (might I add) were to DIE for. The brownies are good too, but not nearly as rich as the chocolate chip cookies. I guess that's because I ran out of chocolate chips so I had to substitute with some butterscotch chips instead. That takes away from the chocolately flavor... But they were good! I may actually make some more of those cookies later... who knows - maybe I'll even set up an auction! I guess I should probably stop watching the Food Network so much because all it makes Me want to do is cook and eat. Oh well, it's the weekend and I'm on My period.
