After contemplating how badly I wanted to walk 6 blocks to pick up My Manolo's I decided I was feeling a little too lazy. Brainstorming I came up with the perfect idea. Last time steve-o and I went shopping he bought Me the Christian Louboutin's... however Barney's had to special order them from their NYC store. No a big deal, everything was taken care of and the shoes were special ordered and overnighted to My address. Well... this last time the lady (the same lady that was there the first time W/we were shopping,lol, and she remembered U/us too) had to special order them AGAIN and had them overnighted to the store here instead of My address. I was fully aware of this, but was anxious to move on to the next store so I just figured "what the hell." Steve-o and I only had a little less than 30 mins left and I was not even close to being done shopping. At the time I figured I'd find some way to walk back there the next day to pick them up Myself. BUT... that didn't happen, as always I found better things to do, bigger fish to fry, etc. After a few days had passed I decided to play the "Ignorant" card and call the store. "Hi, It's Lyne, you special ordered those size 41 Manolo's for Me last week and I have yet to receive them... just wondering what's going on?" The lady responds VERY APOLOGETICALLY "Oh yes, they're here!!! I'm so sorry I was wondering what was going on since you hadn't come to pick them up yet! I'm so so soooo sorry I will overnight them to your house today! you should have them by tomorrow afternoon." PERFECT!!! And... here they are (Click for full size):

Miss Nikki gets in tonight and I have a lot of things to get done before she gets here. I need to compile all My tax information on a spreadsheet and submit it to My accountant today too, but that might actually need to wait until next week. Ugh, I'm such a procrastinator. I HATE TAXES!!!!!! Luckily, I'm good at saving, thank God - or else I'd be screwed.
